New Mura CMS Training Courses Available

We're pleased to announce the availability of our new Mura CMS training courses, held in Sacramento, California. We're offering 3 different courses - you can take one or get a discount if you take all three!

Come to beautiful California and learn Mura CMS directly from the expert team at Blue River. These full-day training courses will provide you with in-depth understanding of how to get the most out of Mura CMS, from content updates to creating new Mura CMS plug-ins.

These courses will be presented Tuesday June 22nd to Friday June 25th, in Sacramento, California.

Admin/User Training Course

Tues, June 22: In this one-day course, you will learn how to use Mura CMS's administration screens to build, configure and maintain your site. This course will include an overview of Mura CMS's functionality, with a focus on the tools and processes used during site creation and content updates.

Front-End Developer Training Course

Wed, June 23: In this one-day course, we will cover how to convert an existing visual design into a Mura CMS site theme. You'll get an in-depth understanding of how to create and modify Mura CMS templates and CSS to create your site's layouts and design, and how to use JavaScript to manipulate page elements dynamically. We will also show you how to rapidly build-out a site with common functionality by leveraging the built-in features of Mura.

Back-End Developer Training Course

Thurs and Fri, June 24th and 25th: In this two-day course, you will get a hands-on "deep dive" into Mura CMS. You'll learn the fundamental principles at work in Mura CMS, and how to programatically manipulate, extend and customize Mura CMS. We'll cover topics ranging from the accessing the Mura API to creating plugins, performance tuning and much, much more.

You might be planning this already, but an idea would be to record these and then sell the DVDs to make the info available to those who can't come to the training sessions :-)

I second Megan's suggestion or offer it via webcast. I would be attending this class but the Boss says its too expensive to travel across country at this time.

Another vote for a DVD version of the courses. I am unable to attend the on-site training but would purchase the DVDs or webcast if available.
