Cross-platform flexibility

Mura goes well with just about everything

Whatever your infrastructure preferences, Mura is likely to fit in nicely. Our CFML codebase can be deployed on ColdFusion or Java application servers, and on a variety of OS choices.

Fully-cross platform browser support

Administrative users have access to the entire Mura functionality set in the browser and OS of their choice. FIrefox, Internet Explorer, even Safari are supported in Mura, and of course, it doesn't matter if you're on a Mac, PC or even a Linux box. Mura is for everyone.

Adobe ColdFusion Server

You can use Adobe's ColdFusion server - Mura runs on all versions from CF7 and up. We like ColdFusion 8 for its performance gains - but it's your call.

Java Application Servers

Using Railo's CFML engine, you can deploy Mura as a WAR file straight to your Java application server of choice. This setup is a particular favorite of ours, as Railo offers a fantastic price/performance ratio (if you haven't tried it, you really ought to).  The combination of the productivity gains from programming in CFML along with the server performance and scalability of Java is a very potent brew...

Server OS - so many to choose from...

Mura has been deployed on Windows, multiple flavors of Linux, Solaris and MacOS X, so it's likely to work for you too.

Databases - it's your call

Prefer open source? Mura runs great on MySQL. If you'd rather use Microsoft SQL Server, that's great too. Mura now runs on Oracle 10G as well. It's all about choice.
