Locale Translation Manager
Description
The Locale Translation Manager allows you to specify related alternate language versions of content for any specific page within the Mura content editing process. This is a great tool for sites that need to provide single pages of translated content or links between entire sites of translated content.
Once the plug-in is installed on all of the sites in your Mura instance and the Locale Translation Manager becomes available on any page. From the content edit screen, you can simply select the content from other sites that you would like to provide as a translated version of your current page. Once the relationship is created, just add the display object to the page you are editing and the translate this page option will appear. Toggling between versions is transparent to the user for both the admin creating the translation as well as the user on the front-end.
You can see this plugin in real-world use on these example sites:
- http://www.taz-horgen.ch/
You do not have to create an entire site structure to allow translations for each. Every translation can be created on an ad hoc basis, although some fleshing out of site architecture may be necessary for a good user-experience.

I would like to try before I buy, too. We are still evaulating Mura to see if it will work for us. Part of what we need is to offer many pages in several languages. This sounds like it might be it but on the other hand it sounds like it just shares articles between Mura sites?? Would really like to try this out before spending the $200. -thanks

Unfortunately, we don't have a demo currently up or a test plugin you can download. If you would like to send any questions you have to us via our contact form, we'd be happy to answer them for you.
@Ryan: I'm not sure I understand your question. The LTM plugin allows you to "link" content nodes in one site (English, for instance) to another page in another site (Spanish), allowing the the user to toggle between that same content in different languages.

Hi Sean.
What if I have one site, and I want to offer an article on that site in several languages. Is that something the plugin can do?
It sounds like it doesn't work that way - it sounds like I have to have a site for each language?

Yes and No. Translations are provided by using a separate site for each language. This is done for several reasons, not the least of which is flexibility, but the important take-away is that moving between translations is seamless to the user and not difficult to set up.
